How old can you find them….
It is always a pleasure for me when I see that it is a MD8x that a SAS flight is being operated with. I like it because of the comfort as the two engines are in the back. Also the space in each row are quite good.
But they are getting phased out by SAS and they are getting old. The oldest one I have flown with is from 1988:
So the question remains – is there an older one still in SAS colors or have it been sold to a US Carrier or similar?
Anyway – I am going to miss them when they are gone…

Club Carlson “big night giveaway” – Thank you for the free nights
During the last period of different hotel promotions the one I targeted was Club Carlsons “big nights giveaway”. If I stayed one night at a Radisson and a Park Inn I would get a total of 94.000 points. This is almost enough for 2 nights at a top tier hotel.

Travel Gear – New little wireless router
I have always been irritated when entering a hotel room and there is still no wireless internet connection. Also when coming to an office or other place where it is needed during meetings. I have in most cases a wireless router with me but they have always been to big. Not D-Link have released a very good travel sized wireless router. The weight is only 113 gram. Perfect as travel gear.
The compact router from D-Link (DIR-505) can create a wireless network from a wired connection. It also has a USB port that can charge devices or share USB-based storage over its network.
It it is US stores but us Europeans have to wait a little while more.

Nice weather…
Home from a week in Bilbao and the temperature dropped almost 20 degrees. It was 34 degrees I Bilbao and 15 degrees in Copenhagen.
Hope for the same weather in the coming week where I am back

Weber rotisserie – første forsøg
Så skal fødselsgaven bruges for første gang. Min fine Weber rotisserie skal prøves af med en helt ordinær grill kylling. Den bliver helt neutral krydret da jeg vil prøve og se selve rotisserie effekten før der kommer andre smagsvarianter på.
Ønskelisten er allerede lang og snarest skal en “klassiker” som Porchetta forsøges – men der skal lige øves lidt først

SAS and the Danish National football team
The Danish national football team will be travelling in style. SAS have ensured that at MD80 is ready for taking them from DK and will be present there during the entire event. There is also some visible things on the plane. So keep an eye for it the next weeks if you are in CPH
